Final trains for 'FROT 25' !

The diminutive ‘FROT 25’ (0-4-0 Corpet-Louvet of 1927) will probably haul its last passenger carrying trains during the forthcoming ‘Fête de la Vapeur’ as its boiler certificate expires a few days later.
Returned to service by the CFBS, she hauled the first train of the preservation era from Le Crotoy on 4th July 1971. With the increase in traffic and the lengthening of the trains in recent years her appearance at the head of trains has become fairly uncommon.

The forthcoming ‘Fête de la Vapeur’ will be the opportunity to hear, for one last time, 25 working hard hauling well loaded trains before she returns to the workshops for a major overhaul which is still to be arranged and funded.
