The CFBS is very honoured to have, amongst its guest locomotives for the forthcoming ‘Fête de la Vapeur’, no. 99-6001 from the Harzbahn in Germany.
Built in 1939 by Krupp, this beautiful 2-6-2 locomotive will be the first machine from the Harzer Schmalspurbahnen to be operated away from its home network.

As elegant as she is powerful, 6001 with her boiler certified for 14 bars develops nearly 600 hp.
The famous incline known as the ‘Mont-Blanc’, as one leaves St Valery-Ville station, should only be minor formality for her – come here and find out in April 2016 !
