Our Belgian friends from the ‘Stoomcentrum Maldegem’ took part in the ‘Fête de la Vapeur’ for the first time in 2013 running their beautiful Meuse 0-6-0T locomotive ‘Bebert’. They will be back on the ‘Réseau des Bains de Mer’ once again in 2016.
This time an 0-4-0 saddle tank named ‘Fred’ will make the journey.

Built by Avonisde in 1925, this machine, weighing 32 tonnes in operational condition, will be working with ex NSB locomotive No 376 ‘Norwegian’ belonging to our twin, the Kent & East Sussex Railway, hauling a standard gauge rake between Noyelles and St Valery-Port.
